You’re Invited to Heartland Military Day 2024

Heartland Military Day 2024 at the Museum of the Kansas National Guard, Topeka, is scheduled for Sat, 8 June 2024.

The showcase will be an outdoor exhibit commemorating all the service members who have passed.

Heartland Military Day is a significant annual event that honors and celebrates the service of military personnel in the region. This day brings together communities and military families to recognize the sacrifices made by those who serve and have served in the Kansas National Guard. The event typically includes various activities such as military displays, demonstrations, and patriotic ceremonies. It serves as a platform to express gratitude for the dedication and commitment of the men and women who safeguard the nation, fostering a strong connection between the military and the local community. The Heartland Military Day is a heartfelt tribute to the bravery and resilience of the Kansas National Guard members.

In June, there will be a pancake breakfast in the morning followed by a day packed with military equipment displays, Civil War and World War Two reenactments, live bands, and a noon cookout. There will be military vehicle rides courtesy of the MVPA.
