Remembering Those Who Served

American Cemetery at Meuse-Argonne, the primary battlefield for the 35th Infantry Division in World War One.

April 6 2017, marks the Centennial of the beginning of World War One for the United States.  For Kansas, this conflict pulled 69,000 Kansans into uniform and almost 800 would lose their lives during the war.  The 35th Infantry Division, the primary combat unit from Kansas, was constituted in July 100 years ago.  Please take a moment and remember their service and sacrifice.
