Berlin Crisis: 110th Ordnance Company (GAS)

The 110th Ordnance Company (General Automotive Support), Manhattan, Kansas, was mobilized on October 15, 1961, for the Berlin Crisis and served at Fort Riley, Kansas until released from active duty in August of 1962. The unit performed general automotive support to active Army and Reserve units at Ft. Riley. The unit was commanded by CPT William C. Long, and the unit First Sergeant was 1SG Melvin L. White.
