Berlin Crisis: 250th Ordnance Company (DAS)

The 250th Ordnance Company (Direct Automotive Support), Marysville, KS, was mobilize don October 1, 1961 in response to the Berlin Crisis. It served at Ft. Riley, Kansas until released from active duty in August of 1962. The unit provided maintenance support to Active Duty and Reserve units at Ft. Riley. The unit was commanded by CPT Howard E. Baker, and the unit First Sergeant was 1SG Warren H. Smith.
