Korean War: 174th Military Police Battalion

The 174th Military Police Battalion, including Headquarters & Headquarters Company, Company A, Company B, and Company C were mobilized on October 17, 1950 during the Korean Conflict. Training initially at Fort Sheridan, Illinois, the unit later trained and performed military police duties at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin. Many officers and enlisted personnel were ordered to Korea as individual replacements. The unit was released from active duty on May 10, 1953.
